Product Description
Up for sale is a TBX Transmission Densitometer manufactured by Tobias. Item is in used condition has been tested and does power on. Lamp does not come on. No further testing done.
Single-step measurement of density or density difference
The Tobias TBX densitometer measures diffuse transmission
densities of black and white films used in graphic arts,
photography, x-ray, microfilm and scientific applications.
The instrument is designed for use in conjunction with
the Tobias WEJEX sensitometer or a manufacturer-exposed
film strip in checking film processor chemistry.
The TBX has been designed for user convenience and error-free measurement. Table illumination facilitates film placement, and the entire operation requires only one hand, leaving the other free for note taking or sample repositioning.
When a film sample is placed over the table aperture and the probe depressed, density readings are displayed on a 7-segment LED. An "auto-zero" feature automatically sets zero with the first reading. Subsequent zero settings are obtained by momentarily depressing a "null/zero" switch on the front panel. In the null position the switch permits density difference readings to be made.
A standard serial RS-232 port provides output connection to a printer, computer, or process control system.
- Companion instrument to the WEJEX sensitometer
