The Fluke Networks MS2-100 MicroScanner2 Cable Verifier performs continuity tests on all cables in seconds and displays results graphically so you can see opens, shorts, and crossed wires. It also tells you which end of the cable has a problem and reports the distance to an open connection within the cable. This cable tester's revolutionary interface displays a graphical cable map, pair lengths, cable ID, and distance to faults on the large LCD screen, showing crystal-clear results whether in bright sunlight or in a dark closet. It tests all common media types, including RJ-11, RJ-45, and coax, with no adapters required. Detects current media services, including 10/100/1000 Ethernet, POTS, and PoE. Built-in IntelliTone digital and analog toning accurately locates virtually any wire or cable pair, even in live networks. The ergonomic design features a sleek rubber over-mold for improved grip and ruggedness. It measures 3 x 6.4 x 1.4 inches (7.7 cm by 16.4 cm by 3.5 cm) and weighs only 13 ounces (365 g).Â
