Part of Sabian's premium Artisan line, the Elite series features extensive hand hammering and specialized lathing designed to produce a deep, dark, dry and complex tonal character. The 16-inch Elite design uses a relatively low profile to provide additional control while retaining the expressive response associated with Sabian's handcrafted B20 bronze cymbals. Its distinctive partially raw surface and visible oxidation characteristics are intentional elements of the Artisan Elite design rather than conventional cosmetic defects.
