Up for sale is a Renishaw ML10/EC10 laser interferometer measurement and calibration system with the components, cables and optical accessories shown in the photographs.
This professional precision-measurement system was designed for evaluating and calibrating the positional accuracy of CNC machine tools, coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs), motion systems and other precision positioning equipment.
The EC10 environmental compensation unit monitors environmental conditions that can affect laser measurements, including air pressure, relative humidity, air temperature and machine/material temperature when compatible external sensors are connected. This information allows the system to compensate measurements for changing environmental conditions.
Depending upon the optical components, software and interface equipment being used, Renishaw ML10 systems may be configured for linear-position, angular, straightness and other machine-geometry measurements.
Condition:
This is a used U.S. Government surplus system showing normal signs of age, storage and previous use. The equipment has been connected to power and does power on successfully. No measurements, accuracy checks, communication tests or other operational testing have been completed.
The cable attached to the handheld remote/controller is currently secured together with tape because the original retaining hook or closure is broken. The equipment also has minor chipped paint, scratches, scuffs and one small ding on the top, as shown.
The present calibration status and accuracy are unknown. No current calibration certificate is included. Renishaw recommends periodic recalibration of the EC10 and its sensors; therefore, professional inspection, calibration and any necessary servicing should be completed before the system is used for precision or certified measurements.
Includes all and only the system components, optical accessories, cables and other items pictured. Software, computer interface equipment, manuals, calibration certificates, additional sensors, mounts and accessories are not included unless clearly shown in the photographs.
