Up for sale is a Kodak DryView 8100 Digital Laser Imager, a professional medical imaging system designed to produce diagnostic-quality hard-copy images from compatible medical imaging equipment. The unit uses an infrared laser and an integrated photothermographic film developer to expose and develop DryView film using heat rather than traditional wet-processing chemicals. It can receive images from medical imaging sources such as CT, ultrasound, and other compatible modalities, with optional configurations supporting DICOM network connectivity through the Kodak PACS Link system. Images are printed onto 14" × 17" DryView laser imaging film, and the system incorporates automatic image-quality control to help maintain consistent output. The 8100 was designed for high-volume hospital, radiology, and diagnostic imaging environments and is capable of processing approximately 55 films per hour.
