This valve is part of the braking system on compatible Caterpillar heavy equipment and is used to control air/fluid flow associated with the machine's parking and emergency brake functions. The assembly incorporates the valve body along with its mounting and sealing components and uses a two-bolt flange for installation. CAT specifies an automatic braking pressure of 40 PSI, with separate supply and delivery ports incorporated into the valve body.
