This engine sealing component installs around the front crankshaft area and is designed to maintain a lubricant-tight seal as the crankshaft rotates, helping retain engine oil while protecting the internal engine assembly from outside contamination. The 4R-8831 is designed for clockwise-rotation crankshafts and consists of the crankshaft seal along with an installation sleeve for proper fitment.
